And, as long as one lives far, far away, the metastasis will require some effort to prevent; it won’t be only Red residents in NYC who seek asylum elsewhere.
I noticed DeSantis is welcoming NYPD and NYFD refugees to FL, as is Houston and a few other locales. Maybe there’s a way to create an exchange program – NYC can send America its Red residents and America can send its Blue residents to NYC; we’ll even offer a better exchange rate – for every Red resident, we’ll send back a dozen Blues, and we’ll pay shipping (think of it as “self deportation”….hey, it’s working for the Feds, why not everyone else?).

My first question to an NYC transplant bragging about how wonderful NYC is would be, “NYC is great yet you moved? Why?”
