I work at a multi-national, they send us Pride emails a lot.
In December we got “Halfway to Pride!” for instance.
So last week we got a “Pride is just around the corner! Show Your Pride!” email.
One guy responded, To All, “Stop sending me this crap!”
It went to every email in 4 or 6 places in the US at least, I’m not sure if they send Pride stuff overseas to Japan, Thailand, Germany or Mexico or wherever else they have departments.
It was the talk of the place for a week. The office folks were harumphing, the machinists thought it was hilarious.
As an aside, the split was about the same as the vaxxed and unvaxxed.
The funniest were some suits who wanted to laugh but had to act all “How Dare He!?!?!?!?!”
There were 4 engineers who seemed to agree with the sentiment but had to be careful how they talked so they half-heartedly harumphed.
It was funny and pathetic at the same time.
