The Regime suspends the law
to flex its bogus “emergency powers”
while it can still get away with it
Frankly, I think educational institutions should make their own student loans.
They should take the risk, not taxpayers.
Might even motivate ’em to provide something of value.
$597 million granted in financial aid and scholarships in the 2021.
$53.2 billion = Harvard University’s endowment in the 2021.
That aid and scholarship number is a measly 1.1% of the endowment. Why doesn’t Harvard give student loans, hmmm?
Is it because they know half their degrees are bullshit paper that won’t make the holders gainfully employable and the loans might never be repaid?
Why, yes of course, Harvard is full of brilliant people, after all, people who have no scruples dumping on taxpayers by selling worthless “Studies” at very dear retail prices while they lead the world in virtue signalling by giving scholarships to fill quotas.
This is a payoff to Biden’s supporters, but this is also an incentive for those that have been walking away after nearly two years of lock-downs and inflation to come back into the fold.
I don’t think this scheme will help the Dems come November for those drowning in this economy will still be drowning, only slightly closer to the surface to begin with and then sinking further as inflation continues.
TBH, “At least he’s doing something!
I’m afraid it will indeed help the Dems in November.
Also, Doug, that begs the question, exactly what are the criteria for ending a state of emergency? Seems to me we passed that point about two and a half years ago.
Nomen ^
Ahhh, yes. I look forward to him bein’ asked that question
