9 THOUGHTS ON “When You Know They Can’t Keep Their Heads Down”
at the risk of overstaying my welcome, i believe that it should be Sergeant York.

D’oh!
Fixed it, thanks.
See? Now that’s why I keep you guys around.
Had to fire my editorial staff.
Musk got just what he wanted! Guys like him are Big Idea Guys. They do not do well in the weeds and day-to-day scrabble of running a business. One of Bill Gates’ best decisions early on was to realize his limitations and hire Steve Ballmer. Ballmer could spend the day with spreadsheets and P&L statements and sales reports and go out and toss chairs through windows (which did happen) when things were not up to snuff. Not Gates’ style at all.
Now Musk can say he listened to the people and stepped aside, all the while putting someone in as CEO that he chooses and who will push Twitter along his own vision as they go public again. Well, minus the lying, skullduggery, woke moronic clap trap, political scumbaggery, and general a**holery.
Yep
Alternative: Musk was having fun playin’ with his new toy, but it became a chore.
His other ventures require some attention, too (see: FAA, Tesla stock price)
Interesting juggling act.
Can’t wait to hear who he gets to take-on the Twitterverse Hydra
Wouldn’t it be a hoot if he hired Donald Trump to run Twitter?
*heh* The “You’re fired!” guy
Bread and circuses, three ring trapeze act, clowns in the car, the zerocrats in the crowd go wild with admiration……while we hunker down outside the tent just waiting till the flaming end….
Not sure we’re s’post’a be enjoying the spectacle;
but, by golly, it is entertaining
The place has been a whole lot more fun since he took over. I joined in 2012 when I turned off all the news except Fox to follow people I trusted. After 2020, I turned off Fox. I get more actual news, among the memes (LOL, it’s true, the left can’t meme) than I ever did with the media crap. You have to liberally (LOL) block & mute, but it’s worth it. some don’t have the patience to put up with it.
