I’ll just squeeze-in this Vandenberg launch Saturday morning
Routine launch from the Cape
although it could be CGI or a replay for all I know
NOTE: nasty hurricane effects came nowhere near me in SCentral NC, just rain.
Lack of posting was due to having nothing unique to add to common reactions to current events.
Y’all don’t need my teeth-grinding in addition to all the others’.
Hard to find something clever or cute or snide or funny to say,
buuut that’ll change
Good to know you’re OK.
And always very much appreciated.
what’s a recent favorite cigar?

I’m no aficionado.
Recently, I’ve been buying 90 LaFinca 50 x 6 in an ammo can for less than $2ea, so…
That size is perfect for using my favorite pipe as a cigar-holder for the last 3-in.
The finer things are kind’a wasted on me;
e.g. I never spend more’n $20 for a bottle of wine,
’cause I lose my palate after the first glass.
Been known to occasionally spend above my station for whiskey, though.
Have a similar problem with champagne. Can’t taste the difference between a $15.00.bott
le and $100.00 bottle.
Must be a good one to consistently smoke it down to the nub.
I’m all over, trying mostly any medium priced Maduro that I can find.
Also Acid has some nice selections. but I get to smoke about every week or two off site.
Cursed HOA banned not just grilling on our patios, but now smoking within 25 feet of the buildings.
Except the former president, upstairs from me, who smoked the cheapest cigarettes inside with her patio door open for our enjoyment.

Don’t smoke the last 1-1/2in.
Heck, even I have standards.
Yeah, once in a while I’ll splurge
on a box of really nice cigars;
but it evokes a little guilt.
I mean, think of all those poor Chinese kids
who have no cigars at all
For full size, I smoke Macanudos and #59.
Macanudos are $7-9, #59 are $1.50-2.00.
I like lighter cigars.
I smoke the cheapies all the way down, Macanudos not so much, they get unenjoyable.
