Day 2 of the shut down: While stranded on the information super highway, I saw the sign for ice tea. Parched due to the lack of, well, everything, because government isn’t operating, I wandered over. Much to my dismay, no ICE tea was available. Instead, it was a post about the Pope, who should learn to keep his gob shut. Gamely, I will struggle on through this hellish existence until I find the Holy Grail known as: Bureaucracy.
I would be surprised if your state DMV wasn’t up and running at metaphorical “full speed”.
Hang in there Blake.
I died but kept on keeping on.
I’ll probably die again tomorrow if this goes on.
“I would be surprised if your state DMV wasn’t up and running at metaphorical “full speed””
Well, that may be true, but velocity is one thing, vector is something else; there are still 360 degrees on a compass (and, two on a clock….)
Hence my use of ‘metaphorical’.
I got that, and was trying to humourously suggest – but missing the mark – that the usual government standard of “doing the wrong thing, better and faster” was not necessarily the great advantage advocates of Moar Gummint think it is. (See: California DMV, illegal alien CDL licenses.)
Day three of the shut down. I’d be moved to tears from the support shown. But, alas, the government shutdown has reduced the availability of tears. Will this madness never cease?
He should have blessed Ice-tea’s bus before antifa burned it.
