I forget who said it, but a long time ago a blogger noted that when cops don’t police, the death penalty gets applied a lot more.
Cops are trained to try to handle stuff without deadly force, someone defending himself is a lot more likely to kill the aggressor.
In Boston, the mayor said she was in favor of decriminalizing a lot of crimes, like breaking and entering with damage.
That means that it’s not against the law to home-invade.
That’s a spectaculary bad idea.
