The “Constitutional ref” page is stuck, you can’t scroll up or down. I must not be holding my mouth right.
I have a suspicion the fault is on the Congressional web server.
Quelle surprise.
Heh
Yeah, Congress’ own page. Dunno how to fix it.
I just included it so folks could be reminded what Letters of Marque means. It isn’t a common topic.
I saw a vid of some drug runners laying on their engines because the Coast Guard would shoot the engine but not people.
Maybe Trump or Hegseth saw the same vid.
You could put a pic of Sir Francis Drake instead of that link.
You are in a bouncing helicopter, trying to shoot the engines on a speeding, bouncing drug boat. Most of your rounds miss their mark, some hit the water, some hit all over on the boat. Those boats are carrying a sh*t-load of fuel. I’m no expert, but suppose one of those .50 cal or 20mm rounds hits a 5-gallon can of gasoline? July 4th on the high seas, right?
My thought is that the burning drug boat was little more than an accident and the DEA decided to make the best of it by saying “I meant to do that!”
