WX?
Short for “weather”
(yeah, nerdy term, but it’s even listed in the Urban Dictionary)
Waiting for the FAA to get off their collective asses to re-approve launches. As of this writing, ESA has a launch (via SpaceX, of course!) waiting on the pad. Hours left to go… (06:38 MDT).
Reckon ESA’s bureaucrats told the FAA’s bureaucrats to get off their lawn?
Does it make sense to love my country and its Constitution, but beginning to hate the gov’t as it is working?
Asking for a friend…
Tell your friend, “Yup”
As a retired AF officer, I’m still sworn to defend the Constitution.
Back in the day, that meant from foreign powers.
Now… ?
Where TF do we start?

Neighbors are very proud of that lawn.
Wait, Starship got their launch license? I thought the FAA was on record saying there would be no October launch license awarded? They get shamed into getting the job done?
Yeah,
I expect NASA and Congress kicked a door in and threatened to move launch licensing authority to NASA.
After the utter political corruption and blatant incompetence of the FAA, in this case, I think the FAA will see a large turnover of executive personnel over the next year.
I was just looking at launch schedules in the links provided and, holy cow, SpaceX dominates to the point everyone else is trying for a distant second place.
Yeah, amazing what they can do
with top-notch people and
without needing Congressional approval
I looked at the Starship launch again and remain amazed at the clean line of burn by the lox ch4 combination.
Which, if I’m not mistaken, is another engineering triumph, using methane for rocket fuel.
