Is there no one on the Governor’s staff with balls enough to tell this idiot that her solution to gun crime in New Mexico is foolish beyond limit? The local sheriffs are already going before whatever cameras they can find to declare that they won’t be putting their personal at risk of lawsuits to attempt to enforce this edict just because this political bimbo has decided that she knows best for the rest of us.
And since she says her declaration even supersedes her oath of office, then I would suggest that the local citizens can also declare an “emergency” and drag her ass out of the Governor’s office and leave her on the rubbish heap of history, where she can join so many other wannabe despots and fools.

There are folks here who are looking at steps to impeach the troll. In the mean time I am suggesting to state police and SF county sheriff to confine her to the mansion (for her own safety, of course) until proceedings can begin.
Albuquerque Police will not enforce and I know no one who will comply. The criminals will likely be emboldened to mischief and will hopefully be surprised.

This governor was sacrificed on the altar of gun control, in order for our government to find out if the time is ripe for them to finish the job they started when Biden was installed in the White House.
I forgot to add, our government is also trying to find out if they’ve got enough people working law enforcement who are willing to “just follow orders.”
I know the FBI and ATF are well stocked with such people. Remains to be seen if local law enforcement has also been corrupted.

Albuquerque Police Department will not enforce . The Sheriff will not enforce. I haven’t heard with certainty about the State Police, yet, but recently the legislature took away qualified immunity from Law Enforcement. So officers can be individually sued into poverty without Govt help. Nobody wants to stick their neck out for her.
New Mexico has been a sandbox for crazy lefty schemes and I’m wondering who made her do this.
As far as I know, citizens are not changing their behavior.
Any foolish criminals who think there will be easier pickings will likely be surprised.
