    Hey, it worked for Coke.

I figure he’ll have high ratings for part of his monologue, mostly to put a quote in the stories folks have already written.
I plan on continuing my boycott of late night tv that I began when Johnny retired and Letterman went insane.

No, boycott the advertisers. Someone, anyone with a blog, list the advertisers each night and distribute loudly and consistently. Money is one thing these asshats understand

Scr*w Jimmy Kimmel! Never watched his show, because he has no talent. Carson or Letterman were talented and entertaining, but when they left, there was nobody to take their places. Kimmel’s ratings started high riding their coat tails and have been on a downhill slide ever since. Jimmy the Dumb*ss will get a one-night ratings bump from the people who tune in to see how far deeper he’s going to dig his hole. Then it will be headed down to the jagged rocks once again.

Kimmel’s contract is up soon. If the Disney people renew it, then they’re dumber than anyone gives them credit for. At this point, a test pattern would have better ratings and will cost less money.

They are defending a dying river – network TV, especially the late night shows are relics. It is the classic buggy whip metaphor. The coveted 18-49 demographic is watching cat videos on the web or playing their video games online at 11 PM.

It sounds like Kimmel is losing a bunch of ABC affiliates because they’re refusing to carry him any more.

Fresh off a week of screeching how the gov’t should not attack corporations for free speech, they’re now calling for the gov’t to investigate the corporations for not broadcasting Kimmel.
