Next time this crap comes up I’ll trust the science as soon as they show it to me – ALL OF IT.

Science is NEVER to be trusted. It is ALWAYS to be CHALLENGED, experimented with, questioned, etc. As a scientist, it disgusts me what was done to the reputation of science over the past 3 years. I didn’t fall for one little bit of it…because I am a scientist…and I KNOW BETTER!!!

The worst part is smug imbeciles calling folks like you a science-denier.

Sorry. You may be a scientist, but that does not make you as smart as some moron who promises loads of freebees to simple minded people during and after an election.

We were preached this from a couple of wise teachers in my math-science high school, so much that I remember it 60+ years later as a life lesson:
β€œWhen you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meager and unsatisfactory kind; it may be the beginning of knowledge, but you have scarcely, in your thoughts advanced to the stage of science.”
    – Lord Kelvin
When a preening “scientist” like the infamous Michael Mann, he of hockey stick climate change, refuse to let other scientists see his raw data and collection methods, there is a stinking turd somewhere in the room.
That turd is usually grant money and/or media attention with its attendant appearance and consulting money.*
