This guy takes me back to my first view of a Titan3 satellite launch from Vandenberg’s SLC-4 back in 1970.
Of course, those were classified NRO missions, so the only unofficial spectators were family members and spies;
and most of the time it was too foggy to see anything.
Every American owes it to themselves to go see a SpaceX rocket launch.
They’re a reminder that there’s more to life than politics and problems.
It would be useful to make this a field trip for public schools.

SpaceX has officially surpassed its total number of launches from all of 2024 (138) — with more than two months still left in 2025. The company has launched over 2,500 Starlink satellites in 2025 alone.
